Gifts for educational or active play are especially needed. Digital Giving Tree: Use https://www.vinamoses.org/giving-tree to “pick a tag” from the tree by “purchasing” a tag. 10/5/2020 Socktober! The fourth-grade class is asking for donations of new, clean, pairs of socks to distribute to the homeless of Benton County. Here's their message:
"We (the 4th-grade class) want to help the homeless people in Benton County by providing socks to improve their health and wellness. You can donate socks at our school. There will be a box outside the front doors during school hours from 7:45 AM- 4:00 PM on October 2-28. Our goal is to get at least 1,000 pairs of socks. There are more homeless people than you think. There are about 1200 homeless people just in Corvallis. Thank you! We appreciate your help, and it will help the community." As you come to Materials Pick-Up today, why not drop off a pair (or two, or more!) of socks to help our community members who are struggling? Thanks for your consideration. |
